One of the most powerful features of Itel Office© is it's ability to merge contact details to create group letters, faxes, labels and/or e-mails.

Having selected the group of contacts required using the search facility Itel Office© allows you to select a template to use for the merge. The template could be a blank letter, set up to your organisations format, or one of any number of standard letters, forms, or labels that you may wish to use.

For example, if you wanted to fax all your customers of a certain type in a certain area a copy of your latest price list, you would create a template with a standard fax header and the price list.

The e-mail merge acts differently from an Outlook Express e-mail to a list of addresses in that Itel Office© sends each e-mail with a single to: addressee, allows modification of the recipient list, and keeps a separate history of all e-mail merges.
