Many telephone systems require the user to prefix external numbers with a number, usually 9, to signify that you wish to dial an outside line. To make Itel Office aware of this requirement, it is necessary to enter the dial prefix in your computers telephony properties section. On Windows XP you can click on Start button, then Control Panel. Then double click on the Phone and Modem Options icon. Click on the Dialing Rules tab and click on the Edit button. In the fields 'To access an outside line...' enter the prefix number. You need to enter the number in both the local calls and long distance calls field. Click OK and OK again to commit the change. Itel Office ignores this prefix if the telephone number is 5 digits or less in length - this is to cater for dialing extension numbers.I do not see the Itel Office icon in Word. How can I fix this?
